Mission Statement
The mission of our church is important to its life in the local and wider community.
Our mission is centered around community, worship, mission and service.
Worship:
To assemble together regularly to
- worship God
- hear God’s word
- receive God’s sacraments
- to intercede for God’s creation
- to grow in the life of Christ
Community:
- To be a community of Christian People
- which welcomes all-comers
- where the gifts of everyone are valued
- who are learning to love God
- and our neighbour
Mission:
- To be a sign to the wider community that it is valued by God through
- involvement in the foci of the community
- providing space for Community groups
- involvement in the needs of the community
Service:
- To embody God’s love for all people by
- unconditional care for those in need
- service to the local community
- support for other caring organisations
Resources:
- To resource the upkeep of
- The Parish Church & Parish Centre
- the Ordained Ministry of the Parish
- the work of the wider church
